Create a new trip

On the home screen, tap the '+ New Trip' button. Enter a trip name, destination country/countries, start and end dates. Set your home currency and (optionally) a total budget. Tap 'Save' — the trip appears in your list.

Edit a trip (name, dates, budget, current country)

Open the trip from the home screen and tap the 'Edit Trip' (pencil) button. Update the name, destinations, dates, budget or current country. Tap 'Save'. The trip details and home screen update together. The 'Current country' affects the default country/currency on new expenses.

Add an expense (manual, voice or scan)

Open a trip and tap the '+ Add Expense' button. Fill in date, amount, currency, category, country and (optionally) a note. Or tap the microphone to dictate (needs internet), or the camera to scan a receipt — receipts can be captured offline and will be processed when you're back online. Review the parsed fields and tap 'Save'. Country auto-fills from the trip's current country when possible. Offline: manual entry works, and receipt photos can be queued for scanning automatically. Voice entry needs an internet connection.

Question 4

Edit or delete an expense

In a trip, find the expense in the 'Expenses' list. Tap the row (or the pencil) to edit, or the trash icon to delete. Confirm the deletion in the prompt.

Scan a receipt to capture an expense

Accepted Answer

Tap '+ Add Expense', then the camera/scan icon. Take a photo of the receipt or upload one. Wait for the scan to complete — amount, date, merchant and category are filled in. Review the fields and tap 'Save'. Scanning uses cloud AI, but you can capture receipts offline — the photo is queued and scanned automatically when you're back online. On slow connections you can tap 'Cancel scan & save offline' to queue it immediately.

Add an expense by voice

Accepted Answer

Tap '+ Add Expense', then the microphone icon. Speak naturally, e.g. 'Spent 45 euros on lunch in Paris yesterday'. Review the parsed fields and tap 'Save'. Voice entry requires an internet connection — when offline the microphone button is disabled and you'll need to enter the expense manually.

Set up and use a trip budget

When creating or editing a trip, find the 'Budget (optional)' section. Enter an amount and choose 'Total' for the whole trip or 'Daily' for a per-day limit. The app shows the equivalent daily or total amount while you edit. Open the trip's 'Summary' tab to see a daily spending chart with your budget line. Blue bars/points mean you're on or under budget; red means over budget for that day. You can change the budget at any time by editing the trip.

Use Summary charts and filters

Open a trip and tap the 'Summary' tab. Choose 'By Day' or 'By Category' sub-tab. Use the filters at the top to limit by date range or country. Toggle between Bar and Line charts. The dashed red line shows your daily budget.

Use the app offline

Accepted Answer

Open Settings (cog icon) and enable 'Offline sign-in' (you'll be asked for your password). When offline, sign in normally — your cached trips and expenses are available. Add expenses manually, or capture receipt photos — scans are queued and processed when you're back online. Items are flagged 'Offline'. Voice entry is unavailable offline (it needs cloud AI in real time). When you're back online they sync automatically. You can also tap 'Sync Now' in Settings. The pill in the top-left shows Online / Syncing / Offline status.

Question 10

Force sync of offline entries

Open Settings (cog icon in the header). Find the 'Offline Sync' section at the top. Review the number of unsynced items and tap 'Sync Now'.

Question 11

Add or manage custom expense categories

Accepted Answer

When adding or editing an expense, open the Category dropdown. Tap '+ Add / manage categories...'. Add a new category name or remove existing custom ones — they appear instantly in the picker.

Question 12

Export trip data to Excel

Accepted Answer

Open a trip and tap the 'Export' (download) button. An Excel file with expenses and commissions downloads to your device.

Question 13

Reset your password

Accepted Answer

Sign out, then on the sign-in screen tap 'Forgot password?'. Enter your account email and tap 'Send reset link'. Open the email and follow the link to set a new password.

Question 14

Update your profile or banner

Accepted Answer

Tap the Settings (cog) icon in the top right. Update your name or other details and tap 'Save'.

Question 15

Send feedback or report a bug

Accepted Answer

Tap the feedback (speech bubble) icon, or open Settings. Choose a category, rating and describe what happened. Tap 'Submit Feedback'.
